Parking Barrier

A project undertaken on behalf of Sheffield Futures. Star house had an open car park for use by staff that was being abused by non-staff visiting during opening hours. Steps were taken to control access to the car park using the companies pass system.
Bingham and Clarkson Contracts supplied and installed a Came parking barrier system. All necessary excavations were carried out in order to install the barrier on the substantial concrete base required, several parking posts and speed control ramp were installed at the same time. A new electrical circuit was installed including required circuit breaker, isolator, conduit and underground ducting. Finally the whole system was tested and commissioned including the electrical and safety circuits before the barrier was put into service.
